well, perhaps he can find some consolation from the fact that option traders were a lot less nervous? :)

btw, the specialists keep shorting on the way up, so that the average value of their short position stays between the bid and ask more or less. if their pockets are deep enough, no problem.

NYSE members were heavy buyers in recent weeks...that inventory gets distributed now.
