I wasn't quite sure what kind of a response I'd get when I described the incident which happened to me, but I was fairly sure that it might raise a few eyebrows; thank goodness for anonimity.

As I understand your explanation, you're saying that this is like a bad dream when someone is asleep? And to be jarred awake occurs when say someone is have a dream like falling or about to be run into by an 18 wheeler headon while dreaming of driving?

That wasn't what I was trying to convey. I was wide awake, or thought I was, and had some sort of a hallucination. I can tell you, I now know exactly what it means to be paralyzed with fear.

Is this last paragraph what you were refering to?
