A beautiful rally indeed, JC. You must admit, though, that my "the professionals want to test the low" theory that was so bashed a while ago indeed came true. There was indeed another chance by buy SUNW at 71 after that sorry soul who was laughed at sold at 71 in early April. The market works that way, often. I have been closely observing these things and applying mathematical analyses for 13 years now! Why does this happen? I have no idea. But, a revisit of a major low occurs incredibly often.

Yes, a great rally. The question I begin to ask, however, is: is SUN starting to get a bit of a big head over its "ownership" of Java standards? They throw together Netscape's application server plus that of NetDynamics and the Forte products into iPlanet Version 6.0 (??? where did they get 6.0? am i missing something?) -- then certify the untested product as the first J2EE compliant application server, leaving BEA's WebLogic and Inprise's entry (both of which seem quite J2EE compliant) to beg for acceptance? Quite strange!
