Good post Greg- I seem to be following you, but still several weeks behind in selling, buying or getting off margin.( and hoping for one more tanking to get back in)
During the past 4 years I've been a bull, a pig, a chicken and a lamb but never a bear.
I've always been a bull on Dell which has worked OK.
Then along came Qcom, where I started as a chicken, ( sold all the Q and J once, then bought them back),then a bull, amd turned into a pig. That was the time I had 44% in Q and was thinking I should sell Dell and buy more Q)
But to get away from the farm, I don't see a bear market here with Asia so optimistic. And with money just pouring into the funds from automatic savings plans. Dow stocks just can't compete with the earnings and growth rates of the tech stocks. I think those who rotated out of techs seeking
safer investments will soon find( have found) that there is
no totally safe place in equities and may as well go where the best potential growth lies.
I am working back into , or trading),plcm, bvsn, vrts,
jdsu, etc.
Uncertain about Qcom so will start with a few calls and
see what happens. May keep buying on the way up and use some stops. (always start as a chicken- Bak bak ba gak)
Regards
Sig
