Yeah the move up has been amazing. Back over the hundred billion market cap. Check out the value assigned to this company yesterday. Ford Motor said in a regulatory filing on Friday that it plans to distribute 130 million shares of its auto supply unit to its shareholders in a stock offering valued at about 1.5 billion. Visteon, which reported a 1999 profit of $735 million on sales of $19.4 billion, is aiming to boost its non-Ford business from 12 percent to 20 percent of its total sales by 2002. Wonder what market cap JDSU will command if they can ever hit profits like that?
