Hi Fellow Patriots!
We'd like to invite you to the official "Picnic Celebration" of the "birth" of our non-profit organization (we are now "official!") on June 11th at Tropical Park.
As you may know, we felt the need to form an organization due to the
deferential
treatment afforded by the U.S. Government and local government, to Cuban
"exiles" now residing in the U.S. The "exile" Cuban influence of
intolerance
and disregard for American laws and values, is a very serious situation
which
has greatly affected us all, we hope and believe that there are many
American
Cubans within our community that share our views, but feel "intimated"
to
express such views. It is our desire to give all Americans a forum to
express and confront prevalent issues that affect us all.
We, the officers of Citizens 4 America are determined and dedicated, and
we
need your involvement and suggestions. We have tentatively suggested
that the
following committees be formed:
Campaign-letter-writing Committee
Spanish Translating & Writing
Committee
Town Meeting/Forum/demonstration
Committee
Voter Registration Committee
Publicity/media Committee
Fundraising Committee
Soon after the picnic we will be scheduling a strategy/planning meeting,
please know that your help, your suggestions, you ideas, and your time
are
needed, valued, and appreciated. We hope you will be able to attend.
It is our belief that Americans truly value and believe in the freedoms
found
and fought for in this country. Perhaps, the most important freedom,
being
that of freedom of speech and the right to express differing opinions
without
intimidation or fear of reprisal. We will defend and refuse to tolerate
the
infringement of these American principals and freedom.
Our intention is to become a serious and long-lasting organization, with
dedicated and active members, working closely and in unison with other
organizations and activists in our community, towards our common goals.
We
hope you will choose to work with us and build an organization and a
membership that will be recognized and respected in Florida and
Washington,
D.C.

Again, we hope to see you at the picnic, June 11th, 11 a.m. to Sunset,
Tropical Park, Pavillion #2, 7900 S.W. 40th Street (Bird Road). We will
have
hot dogs and drinks for 100 people but suggest you bring your own picnic
lunch, and would be grateful if you could bring something to share with
your
new friends (Pot luck style).
Pavillion has a good-sized barbeque grill and we will provide charcoal.
