New patents are always interesting because it gets people to wondering how they may be related to existing ideas and how they may be commercially useful. One of the lines from the summary was

<<The process comprises the steps of inputting three material flows comprising a sulphate source, an alkali source, and an aluminum source.>>

I wonder if this is somehow related to the alumina prospects that have already been discussed? As a caveat, I know NONE of the science involved with this and my alumina v. aluminum comparison may be as off base as my question.
