George, Re: oil

IMO, the oil countries will not allow the price of oil to get to prices that force them into another recession like they recently experienced. With the information I have it seems like our refineries are at capacity, if this is true the price of gas will stay the same or go higher. If you think these oil companies are going to lower prices when they are running at full capacity then my concept of supply and demand is out of wack. As we know they have cut back on building up normal heating oil inventories for next year; and this will be a problem during late summer/fall.

IMO, what is going to have to happen is people are going to have to cut back on driving - big time, and this could be caused by a shock type of economic slow down for prices to go down in the near term. I do not see the working people even thinking of cutting back on summer driving, at least the ones I know, but I do not get out often. <g>
