The Dimension XPS B provides powerful cutting-edge technology such as RDRAM memory, 4X AGP graphics and a 133 MHz front side Bus for an incredible computing experience. It is powered by NEW Intel© Pentium© III processors up to 1GHz. Great for streaming video and audio, digital imaging, and intense gaming.

The above is from the Dell web site. The RDRAM is supposed to be 33% more efficient.I equate it to analog vs digital as an example.I read various articles on it's merits and the general consensus was that it was superior to SDRAM.

A quote from one of the articles TC just posted:

But systems from Dell, for example, do not ship with any special RDRAM cooling, yet achieve some of the best benchmark scores reported to date by reviewers such as PC Magazine and Maximum PC.
