Microsoft indeed hired a whole port load of programmers in SV to put the dogfood to Hotmail. It wasn't like they went over budget or something. I think they all disappeared one day and are in hiding at some Big Sur hermitage. ---I can't imagine what would go through a person's mind that would cause him or her to accept a job porting something that large from *nix to Windows. -JCJ
