Nick - I don't think that is necessarily so. The total chaos in the stories this past week may have reflected many things, personalities in China, FUD, etc., but in more than one of the posts we were reminded that IJ indicated months ago that China may be the first (or among them) to deploy next gen CDMA. Can his virtual silence this week be explained by some behind the scenes assistance in moving 1X towards an earlier implementation? Actually, as several posters have been pointing out, it may very well make more economic sense to do so. I think all we really need now is a money on the table "legal" commitment from Unicom or others in China to deploy CDMA2000. I can hope and do. John
