The funny thing about golf courses is that some Japanese have an inflated view of what golf courses are worth and they actually buy American golf courses because they seem to be so cheap. <G> Only later do they find that American real estate companies only build golf courses so they can sell the houses around the golf course for inflated prices. These golf courses do not make money. One Japanese businessman actually bought a small golf course here in Arizona so he could visit "on business" to manage the property. Anyway, I hope that all of the golf courses that Softbank now owns will not be a cash drain. Does Son play golf? <G>.

Do you have any opinion on Son's other Company, UTStarcom (UTSI)? Son is listed as the CEO and the Company (although headquartered in California) is almost entirely Chinese except for a recent Taiwan contract that appeared to be the impetus for a big drop in the UTSI stock price. What is going on here? And is there any danger that it will affect Softbank?
