I'm familiar with a product that is similar, if not the one you speak of. It's some sort of POLY/WOOD hybrid.No splinters, etc..but you can't use it to nail to..only as a surface board. It's also very slippery when wet, much like myself<gg>. THat stuff is hard to get. Our local McCoys told me there was a 2 month wait for delivery. My 10 year old was getting with it on the kneeboard today..Those young-uns make me sick. Everything is so damn easy for them. I think it has something to do with them not knowing how difficult it should be<gg>
