The Yahoo CMGI post regarding rumored sale of ASIC division to NOK. This sounds really stupid, but the company has done things before I doubted it would do. I don't see how qcom would have any "control" in the marketplace left if it sold the ASIC's division. Nor do I think handst manufacturers would want to buy chips from a competitor:

month to the end of the month. you start with 100,000. to win you need get lucky and hit an ipo or hit a couple of low stocks 5-20 range that make a substantial move. the other kicker is there is a 30 minute wait before the transaction has cleared. in otherwords it is difficult to flip because what you see now is not what you are going to get. a lot of guessing. i have been burnt many times where i put an order in at a low or high point then 30 minutes later it has gone the opposite way.

this month the top 20 people all bought SMDI on the first. they have all made 70-80,000 in those 2 days. i was familiar with smdi but never figured it to make that kind of move. i made a piddly 25,000 the first 2 days.

i like msft also. that things will turnn up and good money will be made. the stocks also have to be listed on the major index's.

by the way here is a good rummor. a number of my wifes feelow teacher husbands work at qualcom. one of them is now worth 6.5m because of their options, anyway they have been talking about qcom selling their chip division to nok. friday she came in and said it is a done deal. qcom is still going to get royalties.

i don't know why they would sell their one major money maker unless they think they won't be able to get anything done in china unless they give to someone over there?

give me your thoughts on all the above.
