Dear Tony: I no longer listen to brinker for some of the reasons already stated by others. However, in your post of what you heard, nothing sounds extraordingary to me except his comment on market malaise for years. Market rollover in Aug or Sept, whats new about that, seems to happen every year FED set the stage for recession, I have been harping on that for many weeks now. I think its a very real possibility unless they hold off on further interest rate increases and start saying GOOD THINGS about the non existent inflation. As to unemployment figures, all I can say is I am reading of more and more layoffs, particularly in the health care field. However, his BEAR point of market malaise for years, I take exception too. We are in a MAJOR upheaval of data processing and communication improvements. I think the technological advances happening now and about to happen are so perversive and basic they are akin to the early days of the Industial Revolution. Unless the govts of the World do something to screw it up I look forward to ever increasing profits and potential the balance of my lifetime. JDN
