JDN, OT - Microsoft

My guess is that about 40% of MS revenues come from US sales. It would certainly be an interesting face off if they decided to move. What would be the US corporate response if they were told by the government that they could no longer buy MS software? A lot of companies have huge investments in their current systems. Would the government stand up to the pressure? MS stock is off 50% after being almost flat for the previous year, how much market cap would they lose with the decision?

It's pure speculation, I don't think MS would even consider moving. But it's interesting to think of the ramifications. And it sure would be nice to say "In your face Reno and Klien".
