Milo, what happens if and when the desktop CPU chip market gets saturated again. What else does AMD have? Intel is growing their network, broadband and wireless divisions at 50% per year, which, if it continues, comes out to $10 billion in revenues projection for them in 2003. Servers and server chips are growing something like 33% per year. Web hosting is a wildcard. I saw more comm products at the recent Intel stockholders meeting than I saw strictly CPU products. AMD, OTOH, just sold off their comm chip division. Jerry may be looking good now, but has he mortgaged the future? Maybe that was the disagreement that drove Atiq Raza away?
