PT, Willy will not have any trouble staying ahead of K7 in MHz. The fundamental microarchitecture was designed to scale well with faster process technologies (0.10u and below.) Athlon may be able to keep up for a while, but as faster gates become available, Willy (with it's very deep pipeline) will open up a substantial MHz lead. Scumbria
