The last time I went to the rheumatologist, he told me to keep with the Arava, the Celebrex, and "just enough prednisone to hold body and soul together." I laughed at him, because I hadn't take prednisone for a year. Now I am wondering, what's worse, narcotics or prednisone? 5 or 10 mgs of prednisone will stop me from hurting within an hour. It's like that dream I had - do I open the box?
