OT: has anyone read the book, "Funky Business" by two bald-headed Swedes (can't pronounce their names, let alone spell them)? It is at the top of the European bestsellers lists (strange, for a business book)...and it's about the changing face of business in light of the Internet, and the change-over from "bricks-and-mortar" to "clicks-and-bits",etc. It's filled with an amazing amount of interesting facts and tidbits...I can't put it down. Like the story of Bloomberg, who started life as an investment banker...and a successful one...until he learned that he could make a lot more money selling information to those in his industry than from the actual industry itself...and the rest is "history"... In any case, it got me thinking. What if everyone discovered that you could make a lot more money, and have a lot more fun, trading online than working at the normal grind...and everyone gradually left their jobs to trade...and soon no one would be working in the industries whose shares were being traded...and so the only "commodity" left to trade would be trading itself... Just imagine trading shares in those who are trading shares in those who are trading shares...halls of mirrors...infinite regression...HELP! Just a thought, TC
