V-man... howdy Dude. BULL alert, at my house! Story follows. Got a shock a little while ago. Was cleaning up, looked out the window, did a double take and there was a huge bull with nice big horns starring at me through the window. Really. I know that I've been saying they were coming but, geez, to my house!
I went running through the house yelling for the wife and boys. They couldn't believe it. Reminded us of the time the billy goat with horns showed up in our garage one night. It's horns stuck out at 90 degrees. It was standing between my bubba truck Bronco and the wife's new Mercedes. Talk to me some other time to get the story on how much damage a wild goat with horns that stick out at 90 degrees can do when it goes shaking its head from side to side between those two vehicles.......
Anyway, we tore out of the house trying to corner the darn thing and get it away and back out in the open. Had the 4 wheeler out, too. Went running down by the pond, then started towards an open gate to our 20 acres of strawberries! Yep, shades of a billy goat with horns at 90 degrees between to vehicles all over again.... just could not stand the thought of it going wild running through those berries.
So here's the RR family running through the field chasing this bull. We got it away from the gate and into the open field in front of the house. Then the owners drove up in a truck. They said we were lucky it didn't charge us, that he was mean. I had him backed up to the tree line with the 4 wheeler, stalemate...
Then the owner realized it wasn't the bull he was looking for, that this was another one that had gotten loose that he didn't know was out. he said 3 were loose.
I said, well, at least there is more than one bull.
Now this is a GOOD OMEM, Troops! The bulls are HERE!
BTW, ever seen a bunch of dents and holes pierced in the side of a new Mercedes? And then try to explain to your insurance man how they got there?
