Re: Software Patch Since the frequency of use is so rare, any difference in performance will be scarcely discernible. The software patch is really very simple and efficient. Finding where the instruction in question is used is actually simple as well if you use the proper tools. The software patch would not have to be removed for successive versions of the P-II either. I do not see any real difficulties here.
