The TOP? Maybe on individual stocks but not the indexes yet. And not the 50% of stocks which haven't corrected back upwards. If you bet against the Naz here you are betting against some very popular stocks. CSCO, WCOM and MSFt are three I wouldn't bet against. SUNW too probably. Any one of them (or all) could go up 10-15% short-term easy.
I'm thinking of buying MSFT by the way. And I'm a bottom-fisher. If there's a 5% drop I'd buy all four of the above. I'd buy QCOM here as well. And bet against the chip makers? INTC may look expensive but it really is worth $150. (I think IBM is too by the way) I go short here on the Naz for more than 24 hours maybe. They just started selling Naz stocks in Asia as well. Foreign money loves the Naz now. Much more than their own stocks.
