advalorem,

Do you get the print edition or are you subscribed to the CD-ROM version? How would you describe yourself as an investor (long term, buy-and-hold, short term, daytrader, fundamentals, technical analysis, growth, value)? I am a long term, buy-and-hold guy myself, primarily focused on growth stocks, but with an eye towards good value plays as well...

If you get the CD-ROM version, are you running your own filters, or just following VL's rankings and ratings?

I get the CD-ROM version, and run my own filters. I used to get the print edition (the $55 "special" for new subscribers), but the CD-ROM is better, faster and more adaptable.

I also find VL to be the single best weapon in my analysis arsenal. And like you, I would also say that VL is well worth the money. (FWIW, VL is one of the highest rated tools/newsletters as judged by the Hulbert Financial Digest.)

Thanks.

KJC
