They sure seem to be doing a lot of planning and proposed changes lately. That's been Altavista's problem from the beginning. It's a shame they didn't go public years ago, but back then they were under DEC's control, one of the worst managed companies in history. Now Altavista has all sorts of competition.

I still use Altavista as my primary search engine.
