PRINCETON, N.J., Jun 5, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- ZipLink, Inc. (Nasdaq:
ZIPL), a wholesale Internet connectivity provider in the U.S. and Canada and
Mikros Systems Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: MKRS), a high technology company
located in Princeton, New Jersey, today announced they have signed a Letter of
Intent to jointly develop and market wireless Internet technologies.

Under the terms of the Letter of Intent, the companies will seek to develop
wireless Internet enhancements for ZipLink's current Internet connectivity
offerings using Mikros' innovative wireless data transmission techniques and
network capabilities. ZipLink desires to create a program for marketing these
enhanced wireless Internet technologies to its Internet Service Providers and
other Internet customers.

"This strategic alliance with Mikros is a natural progression for ZipLink as we
increase our reach into the booming wireless market," said Michael Clover,
ZipLink's Chief Operating Officer. "Our goal, in working with Mikros is to
develop innovative wireless Internet services to offer our wide range of
customers."
