The movie industry certainly IS biased. For example how CAN we explain all those young hip (and not so young and hip) actors SMOKING in all the movies. Is the movie industry in the pocket of MO? That's not exactly a liberal position.

And ALL those guns. Liberals don't like guns- THEY wouldn't make movies where heroes have guns (unless, of course, following Anne Coulter's (sp?) wisdom- the heroes were commies, and I can't recall the last time I saw a commie hero. I've seen a LOT of commies killed in barrages of gunfire though.)

ROFL
The Movie industry is out to SELL SELL SELL using sex and whatever else- and I do mean WHATEVER- it seems to me to be the ultimate capitalist arena since people will do ANYTHING to get their movie "buzz" and have it make money. I would think the movie industry would be a shrine for those who believe in capitalism to worship before. Think product placement, think international movie deals, think...tie-ins with Chez Mac.

Of course foreign movies are a bit different (but we don't control THEM) and indie movies (but no one sees THEM).

Maybe you don't see movies and THAT'S why you have this rather odd view of the movies. Of course some movie ACTORS might be liberal- but you musn't confuse actors with the industry. The industry is pure unadulterated amoral capitalism at it's best/worst.
