Television and the movies are out to get the widest audience. For that reason they target the biggest and best spending demographics they can locate. This puts them squarely in the mainstream. It's ridiculous to think that all but 2 newspapers and all of TV is geared toward what you see as a small minority of the population. Sustained bias is only possible where the media is tightly controlled, otherwise the audience would migrate to the news source that best reflected their attitudes.

The key to remaining liberal while amassing wealth is to remember the great amount of luck as well as skill involved in the process. SI is in one way like an Amway pyramid, the losers drop out and only the winners tell their story.
