DownSouth, Hi! About 3 months ago, Sun CEO, Scott McNealy was asked why he was focusing on the storage area. He said "Because there's Billions & Billions of dollars there." They will sell some of these boxes to their existing loyal customers. However I don't think they will sell many to "new" customers. Speaking of a "lite" Solaris operating system in an earlier post by JDN, I'm curious as to whether this operating system is really a "slimmed down" system or simply solaris with many features "hidden" from users. These have been called pseudo appliances by some because they still have the same overhead as standard solaris but just looks simpler to the operator. Duncan
