OT If you can't load windows etc. Check your BIOS and look for a setting that says something to the effect "Load configuration" Each mother board/BIOS words it differently but Windows 98 likes to change this setting and in the event of a crash, it will keep you from reloading. Changing that option back to load configuration should allow you to reload Windows and then get on with whatever back up you need to perform. Good Luck, Lee
