decided to give scott gardner, ceo a call today....he answered his cell phone and related the following information :

US Power's main telephone # is 480.483.2000 which is in the home of the former ceo mel herzog .... he gets referrals from that number but his cell phone remains the best way to contact him....

although he would rather be back on the OTCBB the pink sheets do not bother him that much as the cash flow is poor and they have actually been operating a business for 2 years without any revenues....money in comes from investors and then goes directly out to creditors and vendors, etc..

their accountants have most of the info they need and usps has spent about $40K towards certification .... full certification costs $100K or there abouts....

scott does not want to hype or put out any type of press releases until they have a continuous and repeatable process ....once that is achieved...everyone will hear about it...

asked him what was the hold up in the production....he responded that they had good results with the ton process but when they scaled up to the 3.5 ton process their results were not the same....they began to lose the PM's to the slag....currently they are trying different combinations of
things to get it working correctly....they have a rotary furnace vs. pot type furnace and they are trying different pre-leaching approaches to chemically break down the ores ....more smelting....trying to cut down on silica(? sp.) which draws the PM's back once the extraction process has
been started....

(i am not much of a chemist or scientist so please forgive if any of this info is being related in a confusing manner ... i was trying to write down as much as i could without holding him on the line and asking him to repeat
and spell for me....LOL)

on a positive note....he seems optimistic....he has invested alot of his own money and has brought in private investors as well and they all believe in the process and are trying to make it work .....
