I have a lot of AMD. I can not figure out why Nexgen and AMD prices
are not perfectly correlated. I would expect that NXGN price might be
higher than offered by AMD but it is not. We have discussed an
alternatives for AMD but I thought it was pure hypothetical. I was
considering swaping my AMD for NexGen because some times they are off
by as much as $1 (it is only 5% but no additional risk so why not).
Now I am even beginning to think that the market is not so sure about
the merger.
In general I am still optimistic about Nexgen/AMD. I expect that if
the deal will go through the stock will take off and probably
outperform most of the chip makers.
