Mika,

<< The Ericsson R520 is a triple band (GSM 800/1800/1900) phone which features both GPRS and High Speed Data ... you can always be connected and always online to the mobile Internet ... built-in Bluetooth >>

Cool! Really.

Now since when did GSM start operating in 800 MHz spectrum? <g>

Leave in the 800 MHz (AMPS), throw in 900 MHz GSM, and some 1900 MHZ CDMA (or something like that, and you have my dream Verizon Voda (FONE). <gg>

Wasn't it you that recently said you don't see GSM 800/1800/1900 MHz trimodes?

A question for you. Are the markets where Vodafone is upgrading or building out GPRS 900 MHz or 1800 MHz or both? I was under the assumption 900 MHz but just realized that I am not sure.

Is the R520 WAP enabled?

Sure has everthing else for GSMland.
