Hi Glenn. First of all this bug remains unnoticed for close to 1 1/2 years. The moment it is discovered, intel came out with a software solution to the problem. You are now asking " whether the public will accept a software patch?". Let us get real. If speed is going to be compromised due to software, Intel can add SuperOps program to substitute for any deficiency. Regards Kumar.
