I originally said:

<<CNBC seems to be doing a MUCH better job at not cutting off guests during interviews: a very positive change.>>

You replied:

<<I don't see CNBC is doing that much better a job! Gold up another $3.50 over Friday and they have said NOTHING!>>

Maybe I am dense, but I just do not see any connection between my comment on guests and your reply on gold. Is there a connection?

Although I did not watch it today, I would imagine that CNBC covered the commodities at least once during the day -- which usually includes mentioning gold -- but maybe not.

Even if they did not cover it, I suspect that most folks do not see a $3.50 rise in the price of gold as a significant event. It would surprise me to see CNBC or any other financial news channel pay particular attention to a whopping $3.50 move in the price of gold. But, then again, maybe I am just dense about this too and have missed out on a huge opportunity.
