Paul, I am not familiar with the San Fran operations.

It is public knowledge that their trading systems reside in Phoenix and for Europe in Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

It is public knowledge that there are many NT web servers interfacing with IBM application servers and databases run on a mixture of NT, IBM, and Sun.

I am not willing to share any info that is not public knowledge as Schwab have been one of my company's major customers in the last two years.

Edit - and of course the office systems are NT based with Schwab very keen to transfer to 2000 very quickly. They are generally an early adopter of MS technology, indeed they agreed to be a MS case study after implementing a very early and very successful Exchange rollout.
