From this you imply that your ISP peers directly to UUNET. That is probably as good as it can get, though I'm no expert.

A lot of other ISP's use different backbone providers. Data coming to my two different ISP's from Cyber follow two radically different paths.

The path a packet takes to you depends on who your ISP talks to.

Make sense?

BTW- its my opinion that Cyber has gotten *radically* less reliable lately. Its them- not us primarily at fault.
