"Excite@Home said it disagrees with Cablevision's assertion. The company also said it doesn't know if it will continue to be a partner of Cablevision under its existing agreements."
Hi Jay- I hope the E@H spokesperson didn't phrase it like that. It seems there could have been a better retort. Cablevision has about 3.5 million subscribers in the Big Apple, Boston, & Cleveland. Hey, every little bit helps! Come on PR Dept., you can do better than that...like..."Excite@Home values it relationship with Cablevision. The markets of New York City, Boston, and Cleveland are very important to our expanding U.S. footprint. We are confident that we can come to terms with Cablevision, and that our relationship will be long lasting." Or some other positive slant...not that negative garbage for Pete's sake.
Speaking of PR...when is the annual meeting for shareholders? Has it been held already? Last year is was in May. They probably slipped it in on Memorial Day at 4:30 A.M. Those dirty rats. If not...I'll bet management is hoping shareholders will forget about it. Then again, maybe this company only holds them every other year. Hey, now that's a novel idea! Sorry for the negative slant, Wingman.
I'm waiting and curious to see how T is going to meet government approval and its effect on ATHM.
3 1/2 days until I can sing that Alice Cooper song. How does it go, Solid?
