Hi all; From Hyundai's presentation at today's DDR meeting: DDR Design-Win Update - I Graphics -- High End Graphics has adopted DDR since 2H99 - nVidia GeForce -- Leading graphics vendors will introduce DDR based platform for mainstream PC by 2H00, devices of choice - 4Mx16, 2Mx32 DDR -- Graphic market will be dominated by DDR in 2001 - using 2Mx32, 4Mx16 and 4Mx32 -- Now 5.8GB/s, expecting 8GB/s in 2H00 and 9.6GB/s in 2001. -- Hyundai is the leading supplier of DDR memory to graphic vendors. DDR Design-Win Update - II* UNIX Server -- High-end servers are being designed based upon DDR SDRAM. -- Use both standard and custom DIMMs -- Hyundai DDR devices are under qualification Notebook -- ALi and Transmeta chipset based platforms are being developed.
