That may be but, I am a senior, and don't seem to have that problem. I know, in my own mind, that I will be better off in the future, if the Republicans are running the show, than if the Democrats continue to control. The Dems do not use economic logic in their programs, while the Repubs have a better record, during my life time, in that respect. The same holds true for all of the seniors I know, which I admit may not be the norm. Most of us could see the flaws in the SS system decades ago, and have seen the fraud in the Medicare system that nobody in government seems to care that much about, so we started taking steps a long time ago to take care of ourselves if need be. Don't get me wrong. I will take any social security benefit I have coming. The FICA taxes taken from me involuntarily, is my money, and I want it back!!! I don't want it to be wasted on some dead beat some where. That may sound cruel but, that's the way I look at it.
