I was trying to say that it is for history, not the matter of opinion to charge who succeed to do what. Yes I know even much more love stories from the times before Shakespeare, but it was he who had brought it into existence. It's awfully hard work to bring smth from the world of ideas into actual world. New ideas do not come at once, but they are coming here and there till the critical mass has been achieved - and suddenly everybody start seeing things in this new way, and it is becoming common knowledge, smth self-evident. Sometimes smbd's name connected with the moment of truth. God speaks through the man.
