Carl:

LOL! You are FUNNY! If you are serious, then I know a GREAT drug for you. It's called Zyprexa. I should know, I'm a drug development guy. By the way, did you finally sell your Biotechs and Drug stocks? If you haven't, then let me remind you that your value system, which you have frequently shared with us, prevents you from investing in these stocks, since you are not qualified. Or did the emissions from the microwave in your house penetrate your aluminum shield?

Back to reality here: Powerful interests are arrayed against INTC/RMBS, and every shareholder should be aware of these as they make their daily decision whether to sell, add to holdings or hold. Why do you object?

There is the memory industry association created specifically to counter Rambus, Advanced Memory International.

ami2.com

It is composed of a who's who of memory suppliers, including Micron, Fujitsu, NEC, Hitachi, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, IBM, Vanguard, Hyundai, Samsung, and Infineon, and was created April 9, 1999.

The first Press release dated April 30, 1999. From the start, the organization appears to be uni-dimensional in purpose / scope: ".... finalizing PC133 introduction and accelerating Double Data-Rate SDRAM adoption.." See

Then there is CMP's sponsoring of the DDR summit:

simmtester.com

<<.... In the roll out summit held at the San Jose Double Tree Hotel last week (May 18, 2000), the DDR memory was made official. That signifies the official market entry of the new type of memory............ Last week's DDR Summit was partially sponsored by CMP publications including Electronic Business News and EE Times. As Steve Cholas puts it "The job of the press is to tell the truth as it is. We have the obligation to report on both DDR technology just as much as on Rambus technology." ..........

....DDR marketing campaign had just started
If last week?s DDR Summit was a marketing kick off, they sure did a very good job. When Todd Rovazzine of Silicon Tech started this idea, he had some difficulty to recruit the first few sponsors. After he got Micron Technologies , CMP Publications and DDRtester.Com as premiere sponsors, the snow ball just started rolling.....>>
