Very interesting read. That article is as succinct as possible in establishing a good deal of the blame for low gold prices on the management of the producers. I have maintained ad nauseaum that the management of the gold producers have been second rate at best and in many instances totally inept. If June 15th is D day so be it and let those who bet against the metal and their shareholders suffer the consequences. Between now and then, it will be difficult to place a bet on which companies will take a hit and which ones will come out smelling like roses. This is probably the main reason the xau is lagging so badly instead of leading the pog.
As I speak, I just noticed gold jumped from down .80 to up 4.80 with the xau rising only one point. Yes, the day of reckoning for the producers may be fast approaching and those who have vehemently defended their activities will be left with an indefensible position.
