There is a good Aritcle in Fortune magazine May 27th about WINTEL. Statistics from IDC(International Data Co.) shows NT outsells UNIX in 1996. NT is deployed in the corpates at amazing speed. Since internet, and MSN Network are not the real cash cow. NT is Gate's real dream. Analysts know that the road before NT is still long before it will replace all the UNIX and Servers but they believe Gate is getting closer and closer to his dream. Pentium Pro and P/2 are confirmed to be the best chip for NT server, workstation ..... In the next couple years, Large portion of MSFT revenue will come from O.S. and DataBase applications. I guess everyone here knows whatg processor is operating underneath of Windows 95 and NT. This trend is good for both INTEL@INTEL and AMD@INTEL.
