Burt, re;I'm hard pressed to understand why Timna needs Rambus. Sort of like saying your Chevy Geo needs a V8. Am I missing something? My guess is to persuade the memory makers to switch more volume to RDRAM since Timna is a high volume part. Also, the execs had no idea about the electrical problems of the MTH translator...worst case: a glitch or 2 may be found, but could be quickly fixed because "we're good at reacting to and fixing problems". Unfortunately, didn't work out that way. joey
