Hi Mike:

I too, find the stats you provide, & your analysis, interesting. Regarding DSL router v. cable modem figures, I would speculate that these figures are provided by suppliers so they are "push" figures rather than actual purchase or lease by consumers, which I would interpret as "pull" figures.

I'm just speculating, but as you probably know, one has a tremendous ability to distort the truth with statistics -- the first lesson in Statistics 101.
