Re: "Just closed 20 July 70 puts (2 5/16) and wrote 10 Oct 90 puts (15 7/8). It's almost free money, IMHO. What do you think? Have you written any AMD puts lately?"

Comment: I've tried it a couple of times but found with the upward sope on AMD's price curve that, given the margin requirements, I was much better off just buying calls...I'm fully invested in calls right now with Jun. 80's, Oct 70's and Jan 80's...I might, at some point consider writing out of the money calls against my Oct's and Jan's but not right now as my vibes tell me that AMD is about (i.e before June expiry) to run to the $100 to $120 range.A close above $93 will signal strongly that the runup is about to begin... Consequently I'm not trading my Junes at the moment as I don't want to miss the next runup which is imminent imho...(I'm still curious as to whether or not Michael Dell will have any AMD related tidbits in his Thursday presentation in Washington!)
