Allan, that's probably the case...no-one is taking the gold rally seriously. i just read the economic section of a leading Austrian newspaper...the comment on the recent gold rally was: "it will soon be over". what worries me is that normally the XAU ALWAYS leads rallies in the PoG. it never happens the other way around. but then, normally the PoG leads the CRB as well, and hasn't done so during the latest CRB rally. so perhaps we have to throw historical intermarket relationships out of the window for now... the lack of conviction may well be a positive from a contrarian PoV.
