<<I'm not even gonna ask what a "brush hog" is>>
It's a mower, for god's sakes! A big one...provided you've ventured out on our nation's highways, you've probably seen them mowing the medians. If on the other hand, you never leave your concrete jungle, you might not be aware that "grass" needs to be "mowed" on a regular basis.
<<some strange rural sexual diminutive>>
Somewhat strange and somewhat rural, but not sexual or diminutive at all. At least, I've never gotten any kind of charge out of a brush hog. Now, a new gleaming John Deere...ahh, life!
<<whether the river has channels and what you are planning regarding storage>>
The river has a pretty big channel, about 50 feet wide. I have a "barn" for storage.

I extend, graciously and sincerely, the invitation to visit us hicks out here in the hinterlands. When you visit, you can drive the "tractor" to the "barn" and maybe even do some "brush hoggin'" to boot. I will show you some "cattle." This is where you cosmopolitans get those "steaks" that you pay $40 for. We also have "farms" from whence come the vegetables that go with that steak. The farmers get to have bigger tractors, but then they have to work a lot harder, so it evens out.
There's a golf course about 5 minutes away, too, so all you hackers are invited, too.

PS It sure seems like I have a lot of mowing problems. |
