Intel has been struggling to keep up with strong demand for Celeron and Pentium III processors since last year's holiday season. The Timna delay could free up enough capacity to help Intel avoid a similar crunch this year. Elmer doesn't think so. Wasn't Timna supposed to be on a .25 micron process? If so, how would freeing up those fabs help Coppermine and Celeron II production? Does Intel plan to make anything on 0.25 microns in Q4?
